My fabrics are sourced locally, in Cape Town, either at cotton mills in my area or at flea markets; I enjoy working with whatever I can find, rather than ordering huge amounts of one thing. Printing patterns with individual hand-carved blocks means that I'm able to design the layout of the pattern as I print.
